Born 1973 in Mandalay, Myanmar. Artist and independent curator. He began training in bronze sculpture with his father at an early age. He received his art education at the State-run School of Fine Arts and received his BFA from the University of Arts and Culture in Yangon. He has done international residencies in the United States, Europe, and Asia for further study.
While working as an art instructor, he explores the possibilities of freedom of expression found in contemporary art, incorporating traditional forms with contemporary sensibilities and expressing social messages. He is also the founder of the SOCA Alternative Art Learning Program and is well known in Myanmar\u2019s art community as an artist and curator.
Recent major exhibitions include \u201cConsciousness of Realities\u201d (2019, Myanm\/art Gallery Space, Yangon, Myanmar), \u201cDining-Room Opera\u201d (2014, Rooster Gallery, New York, USA), \u201d Calling Memory\u201d (2012, Koganecho Bazaar 2012, Yokohama, Japan).
